Gaining School Experience
Manchester Nexus (part of the Cranmer Education Trust) offers school experience to those people who are considering teaching art and design, biology, business studies, chemistry, computer science, dance, design and technology, drama, economics, english, geography, health and social care, history, maths, media studies, modern foreign languages (MFL), music, physical education, physics, religious studies or social sciences at secondary level and hold a 1st, 2:1 or 2:2 degree in that subject.
The duration of a School Experience Programme placement will vary from 1 day up to 10 days.
Manchester Nexus also offers school experience to those considering teaching in a primary school setting.
It is important to note that a place on our School Experience Programme is only available to those who have attended a Teacher Taster event and have applied to train with Manchester Nexus. We therefore recommend attending a Teacher Taster Event prior to applying. You will be given further information about gaining School Experience with Nexus at these events.
