School Experience Programme (SEP)

Manchester Nexus SCITT which is part of the Cranmer Education Trust is registered for the School Experience Programme ( SEP ) with the Teaching Agency.

The SEP offers a school placement to those people who are considering teaching maths, physics, chemistry, biology, geography, computing, and modern foreign languages (MFL) at secondary level and hold a 1st, 2:1 or 2:2 degree in that subject.

The SEP is also available to those considering teaching these subjects and who are studying towards a degree in one of these subjects or a related subject and are currently in their final year. The duration of a School Experience Programme placement will vary from 1 day up to 10 days.

Primary Teacher Taster Days

Our Primary Teacher Taster Days are available to anyone interested in teaching Primary (General), and we also offer Primary specialisms with PE or maths. These take place at our lead Primary School, Christ Church CofE School, Chadderton.

Wednesday 21st March 2018 – Christ Church CofE Primary School, Crawley Way, Chadderton, OL9 9ED

Tuesday 27th April 2018 – Westwood Academy, Middleton Road, Oldham, OL9 6BG

Wednesday 23rd May 2018 – Richmond Academy, Winterbottom Street, Oldham, OL9 6TB

Thursday 28th June 2018 – Greenhill Academy, Harmony Street, Oldham, OL4 1RR
